The new major logistics and business development in the Corredor del Henares corridor has a new name, brand and visual identity: ALMA Meco. A name and a concept that winks through ‘Alma’ to the project that has been talked about for years and that includes ‘Meco’ in its identity because it will finally be developed entirely within this municipality.
ALMA Meco will occupy more than 250 hectares of land and will offer plots of up to 400,000 m². Thanks to its characteristics, strategic location and connection to the main transport and energy infrastructures, ALMA Meco aspires to become the great pole of attraction for state-of-the-art industry and logistics in the centre of Spain.
The naming, branding and visual identity are intended to represent precisely what this future enclave of new logistics and economic activities aspires to be. ALMA Meco reinforces its link with the territory in which this great development will be deployed, and allows the name to be read together or separately: ALMA or ALMA Meco.
The colour palette chosen represents ALMA’s values. Turquoise evokes technology and connectivity, essential in a park with advanced fibre optics and access to high voltage electricity. Green underlines the commitment to sustainability in an environment designed for energy efficiency. Purple symbolises innovation and a vision for the future, while white brings clarity and simplicity. In turn, the term ‘Meco’ has been highlighted in a contrasting colour and in lower case, in line with the visual identity of the City Council.
The graphic elements that accompany the identity, with geometric shapes and alternating colours, represent a vision of dynamism and modernity, designed to be in constant movement and adaptability.
With a typography of straight and forceful lines, the new brand conveys solidity and modernity, in line with the scale of the project. ALMA Meco not only redefines the concept of a logistics and business park in Madrid, but also presents itself as a benchmark for development, sustainability and innovation.
