The future ALMA Meco logistics and business park is located in Meco, a town in the north-east of the Community of Madrid, in the heart of the Henares River Industrial Corridor, one of the main economic and logistics areas of the region and the Iberian Peninsula.
In recent years, the town has strengthened its position as an important economic enclave, especially since the General Plan of 2009. This Plan differentiates the new residential developments from the areas destined for economic activities, providing them with excellent connections to the major strategic infrastructures.
Meco stands out for its unbeatable location and great connection with key infrastructures such as the A-2, the R-2, the railway network and the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport, guaranteeing both national and international connections. In addition, it also has nationwide services such as grey fibre, high-voltage electricity for large electro-intensive installations, alternative green and blue energy sources, access to water resources for the cooling of Data centres...
ECONOMIC ACTIVITY IN MECO
Numerous companies such as INDITEX, MICROSOFT, Leroy Merlin, ICP, DACHSER, AZKAR, CLAAS and Laboratorios Alter have been established in the town since the beginning of the century.
